Identity Document Verification with Liveness Selfie (IDV)
Identity Document Verifications (IDV) process compares selfies provided by pet caregiver applicants, government documents, along with other information. Vetty verifies an individual’s identity and their identification documents by determining whether these are a match.
SSN Trace and Address History
The SSN Trace is used as an address locator that compares the pet caregiver applicant’s Social Security Number to certain credit and public records to help determine an individual’s address history, and any other associated names. This information helps identify the locales for other relevant background searches for criminal records.
National Criminal Records Search
The National Criminal Records Search, also referred to as the multi-jurisdictional database search, is used to locate potential records for the pet caregiver applicant that are then used to help direct county or state level searches. This search collects criminal records from a variety of state, county, and other proprietary sources. These source records are subject to availability, and subject to some federal and state reporting restrictions.
County Criminal Search -
Past 7 Years
This is a search of publicly available county criminal records including felony, misdemeanor, and pending criminal records. This search is empowered by information found from the National Criminal Records Search or, in-conjunction with the SSN Trace and Address History search. County records, make up the majority of criminal offenses, are available in all counties in all 50 states, and are located in county courthouses across the 3,200 counties in the US. Some county searches may be returned the same day, others may take several days or more, depending on the search methodology.
National Sex
Offender Registry Search
This search provides an instant, nationwide search of the Sex Offender Registries in all 50 states in the U.S., including Washington D.C., and other territories. The search returns the date of the registration, current status, and other information. This information is gathered in partnership with the National Sex Offender Public Website (NSOPW).
Global Terrorist Watchlist Records Check
The Global Terrorist Watchlist Records Check identifies whether a person is listed on any domestic and/or international watchlists, like the FBI Most Wanted List, Inteperol’s Most Wanted List, Office of Inspector General’s list, European Union Consolidated List, Drug Enforcement Agency Fugitives List, government sanctions databases, and U.S. Terrorist List.
